For example, if we were ignored as a child, we might create a belief system that thinks we are unworthy and a pattern is created where we might constantly seek attention, talk too much or withdraw into the background. That is, the mind works on the beliefs that are fed it: a mindtrack is established that can be debilitating or unhelpful rather than supportive and productive.
